Technical Project Manager / Software Delivery Lead

About the Role

RoadsMax is building modern software for freight and logistics, and we’re hiring a Technical Project Manager / Software Delivery Lead to own delivery across our current platform and future products. You’ll manage our existing software, coordinate directly with developers and contractors, and drive new features and builds from idea to release.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment, likes ownership, and takes pride in getting things done at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Manage software projects end-to-end: planning, coordination, tracking, and release.

• Learn and take ownership of our current software, including backlog and major unfinished features.

• Work directly with offshore and in-house developers to keep specs, tickets, and priorities clear.

• Turn business needs into structured requirements, user stories, and tasks.

• Track timelines, risks, and blockers across multiple initiatives.

• Oversee testing and releases to ensure reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Project Manager, Software Delivery Lead, or similar role.

• Strong understanding of software development and delivery workflows.

• Comfortable using tools like Jira and Excel/Sheets for tracking and reporting.

• Clear communication, strong organization, and reliable follow-through.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and bring structure to dynamic priorities.

• Familiarity with Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and release management.

Nice to Have

• Experience in logistics/freight or other operations-heavy SaaS.

• Fluency with modern AI tools for coding, debugging, and automation.
