Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists in conducting eye exams and diagnostic tests
- Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical history and explaining procedures
- Perform preliminary tests such as visual acuity, color vision, depth perception, and eye muscle movements
- Instruct patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Maintain examination rooms and equipment
