Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18.84 - $18.84 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Yard Jockey Driver:

• Move trailers and other equipment around the yard using a yard truck
• Ensure that trailers are properly positioned for loading and unloading
• Perform daily safety checks on yard truck and report any issues to management
• Assist with loading and unloading of trailers as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized yard
• Communicate with other yard personnel and management to ensure efficient operations
• Backing up trailers and moving them in a timely manner
• Maintaining trailer yard integrity and accuracy
• Inspecting trailers for safety and security
• Move trailers from lot to dock doors and back to lot
• These are the trailers that the Jockey's will be hooking up to & disconnecting. 45 foot, 48, 50 foot, 53 foot and 53 foot vans

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 3rd Shift (Night)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Must have a valid Class A CDL license
• Must have a valid medical card
• Must have a safe driving record
• No reckless driving tickets in the past 10 years
• No rear end accidents or rollovers in the last 5 years
• No Drug or Alcohol violations in the past 10 years
• No more than 1 DUI or DWI lifetime
• Criminal records will be reviewed individually
• Background check and drug test required
