This position offers shifts supporting adult emergency care within a modern, private-room hospital setting featuring a large emergency department, fast track triage, and advanced EMR technology.

Opportunity Details

• Location: Vidalia, Georgia
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Emergency Department
• Coverage: Ongoing
• Shifts: 6:00 am – 5:00 pm, 11:00 am – 10:00 pm, 7:00 pm – 6:00 am, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm, 4:00 pm – 2:00 am
• Overlapping shifts with 2–4 providers on site
• Patient volume: approximately 1.8–2.0 patients per hour

Schedule Details

• Support during morning and evening shifts
• Shifts may overlap for coverage

Clinical Scope

• Emergency Medicine for adult patients
• Triage support in fast track area (8 am – 6 pm, open until 2 am)
• Evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of emergency cases
• Procedures within adult emergency scope
• Coordination with consulting teams and inpatient units

Practice Environment
This hospital features 20 ED bays, including 12 fast track bays and 3 high security rooms. The facility offers private rooms, a large emergency department, and specialized units such as a cancer center and cardiovascular lab. The department maintains dedicated provider coverage to support efficient patient flow and quality care.

Requirements

• Active Georgia medical license (unrestricted)
• Unrestricted DEA registration or willingness to obtain
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA
