About this job
You will join a growing engineering team developing next-generation aerospace and flight systems. The ideal candidate will have experience developing safety-critical avionics software and a strong understanding of aerospace software development standards. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software supporting advanced flight systems.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain avionics software for aerospace applications.
- Develop software in accordance with DO-178 processes and certification requirements.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in software architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and verification activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects while supporting system integration efforts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation to support software development and certification.
- Ensure software meets performance, reliability, and safety requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent software development experience.
- Experience developing avionics software in accordance with DO-178 standards.
- Proficiency in C and/or C++ programming.
- Experience with Flight Controls or Flight Management Systems (FMS).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
- Experience developing embedded software.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded hardware.
- Experience working within regulated aerospace or defense environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.

Compensation & Benefits- Competitive salary: $75,000 – $145,000, depending on experience.
