Welder I (Specialty)

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a hands-on fabrication and assembly role. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, follows established safety practices, and is comfortable working with metal components, tools, and equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do

• Perform welding and related fabrication tasks according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Prepare materials by cleaning, positioning, clamping, and aligning components for welding or assembly.
• Operate welding equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards.
• Make basic adjustments to equipment and processes as needed to maintain productivity and quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and measurements to complete work correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in welding, fabrication, or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to use common hand tools, measuring tools, and welding equipment.
• Basic ability to read technical documents, drawings, and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new processes.
• Ability to follow directions and maintain a strong focus on safety.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior welding certification or formal training.
• Experience with specialty welding processes or materials.
• Background in industrial, manufacturing, or fabrication environments.

Work Environment

This role is typically performed in a shop, production, or industrial setting and may involve standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and working around machinery, heat, noise, and fumes. Appropriate personal protective equipment is required.
