Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney – Midlevel

Direct Counsel is representing an AmLaw 50 firm seeking a Midlevel Healthcare Litigation Associate Attorney to join its New York office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience, preferably involving healthcare or life sciences clients.

Responsibilities

• Represent healthcare providers, life sciences companies, health plans, and other industry clients in complex commercial litigation and arbitration
• Handle civil litigation, internal investigations, enforcement actions, and regulatory disputes
• Develop litigation strategy and work closely with clients throughout all phases of litigation
• Collaborate with a nationally recognized healthcare litigation team on sophisticated matters

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience
• Healthcare litigation or life sciences experience preferred
• Experience with the False Claims Act or other healthcare fraud and abuse statutes is a plus
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school
• Prior law firm experience
• Active New York State Bar membership

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $260,000 – $310,000 annually, depending on experience
