Position: Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist
Location: Murray, KY

Job Description:
Opus Pathology is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Pathologist with outstanding diagnostic skills to serve the pathology needs of a community hospital system. This is a hospital-based position at our hospital facility in Western Kentucky. Opus Pathology is a physician owned practice in the middle Tennessee area with a large outreach including numerous hospitals, physician practices and surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality diagnostic services in surgical pathology and/or subspecialty areas (e.g., general surgical pathology, gynecologic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, etc.) commonly seen in community practice
• Integrate effectively with hospital clinical teams and laboratory staff
• Participate in tumor boards
• Serve as the clinical and anatomic laboratory medical director 
• Frozen section analysis
• Be an ambassador for Opus Pathology while fulling supporting the needs of the hospital

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Eligible for medical licensure in Kentucky
• Proven excellence in verbal and written communication
• At least 2 years of work experience post training is recommended
