Job Title: Material HandlerJob Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for managing, transporting, and storing materials within a facility. This role ensures that materials are handled safely and efficiently, supporting production and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Material Movement: Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Inventory Management: Track and record materials in inventory systems, ensuring accurate counts and locations.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package materials for shipping or distribution according to order specifications.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring materials are stored properly.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
4 pm to around midnight $21.25 temp to hire
