Job Description
A leading packaging company in Bardstown, Kentucky, is hiring 1st shift Packagers. This role includes working with pallets, labeling and assembling, and cleaning machine areas.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, tape, and label packing boxes
- Retrieve bags from conveyor
- Loading boxes
- Quality checks on boxes before packaging
- Weighing materials
- Clean machine area
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years previous experience in a packaging or manufacturing role is required
- Previous experience with a pallet jack is preferred
- Computer skills with basic data entry is preferred
- Able to stand on feet the entire shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening, including drug and background checks
