Make a real difference in the lives of youth! Plummer’s Community Treatment Residential and Youth and Young Adult Group Residence Program is seeking compassionate Residential Counselors to join our team. In this role, you’ll supervise and engage residents, support their treatment goals, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.
Available shifts:
- Tuesday through Saturday 3-11pm
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 11pm-7am

- Support daily life skills, meals, chores, transportation, and activities
- Document progress and communicate with the treatment team
- Attend trainings, meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Professional boundaries and sound judgment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, experience with youth a plus
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and acceptable driving history
- Ability to ascend/descend stairs, bend, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Visual and hearing acuity to perform essential job functions
- Communication: Clear, timely, and professional communication
- Conflict Management: Resolves conflicts constructively while maintaining confidentiality
- Initiative: Proactive, engaged, and creative in supporting residents and the program
- Self-Awareness & Development: Open to feedback and committed to professional growth
