Travel Surgical Scrub Tech 

Location: Chicago, Illinois

We are seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Scrub Technician for a 13-week assignment at a busy acute care hospital. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Scrub Tech who thrives in a high-volume operating room environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment
• Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
• Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures
• Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical cases
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Scrub Tech experience
• Experience working in a busy acute care hospital OR
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
