Technician

A Technician performs the assembly, testing, and verification of advanced fluid‐control components for Aerospace, Nuclear and other applications. This role is ideal for a hands‐on technician who thrives in a precision manufacturing environment and enjoys working with complex electro‐mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and performance testing of mechanical and/or electro‐mechanical fluid‐control devices in accordance with engineering procedures, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Operate, maintain, and help develop high‐pressure test systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and calibration‐fluid test stands and pumps.
  • Conduct electrical testing and verification using a variety of electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Work within controlled clean‐room environments and conduct particulate analysis with accurate data collection.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and validate hardware using systematic diagnostic methods.
  • Utilize oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to support testing and analysis.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Lift and move equipment or components up to 50 lbs as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Experience using various hand and measurement tools including but not limited to torque wrenches, height gauges, and calipers.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical procedures.
  • Proven experience assembling and testing electro‐mechanical hardware.
  • Hands‐on experience with high‐pressure fluid, gas, and cryogenic testing.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing, including dielectric and insulation‐resistance testing.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience working in clean‐room environments.
  • Manufacturing or machining experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware using diagnostic tools.

Education

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Vocational school graduate, Associate Degree or Certificate in Engineering Technology

Additional Considerations

  • Strong team orientation and ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to mentor junior technicians.

Salary Range:$34.00 To $50.00 Hourly
