Surgical Coordinator

Candidate must have prior medical experience

Gather necessary medical records, clinical notes, and diagnosis codes (ICD/CPT), then submit them to insurance portals for prior authorization.

Monitor pending requests, respond to payer inquiries, and track approval status to avoid care delays

speaking with patients about there impending surgery

Research and resolve authorization denials

1–3 years in healthcare administration, or insurance verification.

Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding is desired
