Job Description
Location: Oakland, NJ
Shift: 1st shift hours + OT as needed (7am-3:30pm)
Pay Rate: $30-$32/HRQualifications
- Education: High School diploma required; Associates/Technical degree preferred.
- Licenses: Fork Lift Certification; Electrical or plumbing license preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing maintenance role.
- Skills: Proficient in plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and machine repair. Familiar with hand and power tools, safety procedures, and OSHA standards.
The Facilities Technician maintains property and production assets by performing repairs and general maintenance. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment operation, conducting preventative maintenance, and handling emergency repairs.
Responsibilities- Complete maintenance on production and utility systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Maintain communication with departments regarding production efficiency.
- Document work clearly and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Follow safety practices and maintain a clean work environment.
