CNC Lathe Machinist

Location: Placentia, CA

Shift: 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join a growing precision machining team serving the aerospace industry. This is a hands-on position responsible for machine setups, operation, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality precision components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines
• Perform offsets and tool changes
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment
• Maintain tight tolerances and perform in-process inspections
• Troubleshoot machining issues to maximize production and quality
• Work closely with Quality and Engineering to ensure parts meet specifications

Qualifications:

• Experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss machines preferred
• Candidates with strong CNC lathe setup experience who are looking to transition into Swiss machining are encouraged to apply—training will be provided for the right individual.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience with precision measuring instruments
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Stable work history and a positive attitude
