High-Intensity Clinical Therapist – IDD Mental Health

Flossmoor, IL | Full-Time | Community-Based

Salary: $55,000 annually

Envision Unlimited is seeking a compassionate High-Intensity Clinical Therapist to provide mental health services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and co-occurring mental health conditions.  This position primarily supports individuals in our Short-Term Stabilization Homes (SSH) and Community Living & Transition (CLT) programs throughout the South Suburban Chicagoland area.

What You'll Do

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct mental health assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical support.
• Collaborate with DSPs, QIDPs, families, guardians, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Deliver services in community settings, residential programs, day programs, and via telehealth.
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation.

 Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Illinois license (LSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) or license-eligible within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in mental health, IDD services, or both preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel throughout the South Suburbs, with periodic travel to Kankakee and Aurora.
