Our client, a leader in precision measurement and calibration services, is seeking a dedicated Calibration Technician to join their team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be an integral part of the Metrology Support Department, supporting quality assurance and calibration processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Calibration Technician

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Pay Range: $22-25/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Perform accurate, correct, and repeatable calibrations of customer equipment to appropriate standards.
  • Document and report calibration results, providing certification traceable to N.I.S.T and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Maintain company equipment in good working order and ensure calibration is current.
  • Assist with repairing and calibrating assessment tools and measurement equipment.
  • Prepare documentation and reports for various calibration assignments, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 – 3 years of related experience in calibration or mechanical work.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in calibration of PCMMs and/or machine repair.
  • Understanding of SMax and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
