Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Hartsburg, Missouri

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacy in the Columbia, MO area is seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist for coverage from July through October, with an ideal start date on Saturday, July 18th. Candidates may be requested to arrive a few days early for training to ensure a smooth transition.

This per diem opportunity involves working within a pharmacy team supported by two full-time pharmacy technicians and utilizes the Pioneer software system. The pharmacist will provide excellent patient counseling, accurately fill and dispense medications, and conduct final verifications to maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Schedule Highlights:

• Saturday, July 18: 8:45am – 2:15pm
• Monday, July 27: 7:30am – 6:15pm
• Friday, August 21: 7:30am – 6:15pm
• Saturday, August 22: 8:45am – 2:15pm
• Additional dates in September and October with similar hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication therapies and safety
• Accurately fill and dispense prescriptions
• Perform final verification on all dispensed medications
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and staff

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Missouri Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacy experience preferred
• Open to new graduates eager to gain hands-on experience
