Assignments are set at 27.5 hours per week, with flexible campus placement based on current needs.

Minimum Qualifications (Listing S-Qualifications is Required):

  • S10/S10A: Associate’s Degree or higher, OR 48 college units & High School Diploma, OR passing CBEST & High School Diploma, OR passing Instructional Aide Exam & High School Diploma (must be explicitly listed).
  • Additional S-Qualifications highly valued and must be listed as applicable: S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22, each with specialized requirements such as completed health trainings, experience with behavioral needs, sign language fluency, or braille knowledge (see detailed requirements above).
  • All candidates must be team-oriented and willing to handle various duties, including toileting, diapering, feeding, g-tube feeding, and more.
  • Ability to work flexibly with student needs and follow campus assignments.
  • Clear background check and compliance with district training/certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with diverse abilities in classroom and campus settings.
  • Assist with personal care, instructional activities, and health procedures as needed.
  • Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with staff, students, and families.
  • Follow health and safety protocols, including medication administration (where required by qualification).
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development.
