Retail Long Term Care Pharmacist - Pawtucket, RI

An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services in a retail and long-term care setting. This contract position is based in the Providence, RI area and offers a consistent weekday schedule with full daytime hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• Thursday to Friday, July 9–10, 2026, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, July 13–17, 2026, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, July 20–24, 2026, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Monday to Friday, July 27–31, 2026, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Provide clear, informative counseling to patients about proper medication use and safety.
• Deliver superior customer service to enhance patient experience and trust.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Rhode Island pharmacist license is required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is necessary.
• Prior exposure to long-term care pharmacy preferred to better manage patient needs.
