Long-Term Care Pharmacist - Andover, MA

A Long-Term Care mail-order pharmacy in Andover, Massachusetts is seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment with the potential for direct hire. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists with retail or long-term care experience who are looking to join a collaborative team environment.

Schedule:

Rotating first and second shifts
8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Rotating weekends required

Responsibilities:

Review and interpret physician orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety.
Dispense medications in a high-volume long-term care mail-order setting.
Maintain and update patient medication profiles and records.
Monitor therapeutic outcomes and resolve medication-related concerns.
Conduct medication regimen reviews to ensure compliance with long-term care regulations.
Provide drug information and support to nurses, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.
Verify orders, manage workflow queues, and support mail-order operations using Frameworks.
Assist with medication adherence and other pharmacy management services.

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license.
Recent retail or long-term care pharmacy experience.
PharmD preferred.
Experience with Frameworks is a plus.

Compensation:

$55.00 per hour.
