Retail Pharmacist Manager Opportunity - Massachusetts

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are actively recruiting a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position with an established independent pharmacy in Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent Pharmacy Manager position for the right candidate.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday
9:00 AM–5:00 PM
No overnight shifts

About the Role:

Practice in a busy independent retail setting filling approximately 100 prescriptions daily.
Utilize the Computer RX pharmacy management system.
Lead and support a team of three pharmacy technicians.
Oversee prescription verification, medication dispensing, and patient counseling.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Manage inventory and maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
Serve as the pharmacist on duty and take an active role in day-to-day management.

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts pharmacist license required.
Recent retail pharmacy experience is required.
Prior Pharmacist-in-Charge experience is preferred.
Staff pharmacists interested in advancing into a leadership role are encouraged to apply.

Compensation:

$62.00 per hour.
