Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler I
Location: Cleveland, MS 38732
Shift: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $15/hour to $16.05/hour on W2

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Material Handler I to support manufacturing operations. This role involves handling materials, packaging products, performing quality checks, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing and packaging processes for plastic bottle production
• Conduct and document line clearances
• Verify materials before use in production
• Load and unload materials (e.g., gaylords) onto production lines
• Pack finished products and ensure proper labeling
• Inspect products for quality, including bottle and gasket assembly
• Report any abnormalities or issues to supervisors
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP guidelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 6S principles
• Participate in continuous improvement and Lean initiatives

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to read and understand procedures and specifications
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, and climb ladders
• Ability to lift items above shoulder level

Additional Information:

• Must follow safety, quality, and compliance standards
• Hearing protection required (audiometric testing applicable)
• Overtime may be required based on production needs
