Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding role as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, serving students in a vibrant and supportive educational environment near Calhan, CO. This contract position involves collaborating with a diverse K-12 population across multiple campuses, making a real difference in students’ educational journeys and communication success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Familiarity with pediatric and school-based settings favored, though not required
  • Comfortable managing an itinerant caseload and traveling between sites
  • Strong organization, communication, and rapport-building skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assessment, intervention, and therapy for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create individualized treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation
  • Engage in team meetings and consultation, including paid administrative and indirect service time
  • Opportunity to supervise and support other professionals (as available)

Position Highlights:

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Service multiple sites within a dynamic, inclusive district
  • Full contract duration runs from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027
