Endocrinology - Physician Assistant "URGENT NEED"

Job Title: Physician Assistant – Endocrinology

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $135,000 – $150,000 per year

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join a growing outpatient endocrinology practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders while collaborating with physicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of practice.
• NCCPA certification required.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of endocrinology or internal medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage endocrine conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and metabolic syndromes.
• Prescribe and adjust medications, including insulin and hormone therapies, in accordance with established protocols.
• Interpret laboratory results, diagnostic studies, and imaging.
• Educate patients on disease management, lifestyle modifications, insulin administration, CGM devices, and insulin pumps.
• Monitor treatment plans, review abnormal lab results, and manage medication refills.
• Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
