Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a blended Med/Surg night shift position at a Pathways to Excellence designated facility in Illinois, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details\n

• Blended Med/Surg unit serving adult patients across Med/Surg, Swing Bed, and PCU levels of care
\n
• Patient ratios are 1:5 for Med/Surg, 1:5-6 for Swing Bed, and 1:3-4 for PCU depending on acuity and drip status
\n
• Assignments are balanced by nursing workload and patient acuity level, with supervisors managing PCU assignments for nurses with Med/Surg-only backgrounds
\n
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7 PM – 7 AM
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Every other holiday required
\n
• No on-call responsibilities
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

• Active IL RN license required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
\n
• BLS certification required
\n
