American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a cardiac telemetry and progressive care unit, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

- 41-bed inpatient Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive/Respiratory Care unit located on the fourth floor of a hospital \n
- Patient population includes medical and surgical patients with cardiac dysrhythmia, respiratory illness, and/or significantly altered hemodynamics requiring cardiac monitoring \n
- 13-week contract, 36 hours per week \n
- Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 days per week \n
- Holiday and weekend coverage required \n

- Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state \n
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS \n
- ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred \n
- Previous nursing experience preferred but not required \n

- Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, patient and family education, discharge coordination, and quality improvement participation \n
