# Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – Louisiana

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Alexandria, Louisiana

Compensation: $90/hour

\n

Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift). On-call duties required. Every other weekend rotation.

Requirements:\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent
\n
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification from ARRT or ARMRIT required
\n
• Louisiana State Licensure required
\n
• BLS certification through AHA required
\n
• 1 year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
\n
• Basic computer experience required
\n

Responsibilities:\n

• Perform MRI examinations and procedures following established protocols and safety standards
\n
• Conduct thorough MRI screening of patients and employees to ensure safety compliance
\n
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and participate in quality assurance programs
\n
• Ensure proper scanning, processing, and archiving of images in PACS
\n
• Adapt assessment and care methods to accommodate diverse patient needs including age-specific, cultural, and developmental considerations
\n
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory standards
\n
• Support efficient patient flow and assist other imaging technologists as needed
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions
