Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM

Putnam County Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department team for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a full-time night-shift opportunity with the potential for an extension.

\n

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced emergency setting and providing high-quality care to patients with a wide range of urgent and critical conditions.

• Emergency Department nursing experience

• Current BLS certification

• Current PALS certification

• CEN
\n
• NRP
\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Assess and care for patients presenting with emergency and urgent medical conditions
\n
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy
\n
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
\n
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
\n
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families
\n
• Follow hospital safety, infection-control, and emergency-care protocols
\n
