American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with pediatric experience for a night shift weekend contract at a children's hospital in New Orleans, LA.

  • Pediatric hospital setting in New Orleans, LA
  • \n
  • X-Ray unit serving a pediatric patient population
  • \n
  • 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • \n
  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule
  • \n
  • Floating and weekend coverage required
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 2 years of X-Ray Technologist experience required
  • \n
  • Pediatric experience required
  • \n
  • ARRT-R and BLS required; a temporary LSRT (Louisiana State Radiologic Technology license) is accepted and takes 3–5 days to issue once the fee is paid and proof of ARRT certification is received
  • \n
  • Louisiana state license required if applicable
  • \n
  • A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • \n
  • Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
  • \n
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to support optimal department function
  • \n
  • Demonstrates proficiency with all X-ray equipment, protocols, and procedures
  • \n
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • \n
  • Any scrub color is acceptable
  • \n
  • Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
  • \n
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
  • \n
  • Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
  • \n
