Staff Today is seeking a local contract nurse Correctional for a local contract nursing job in Lillington, North Carolina.

Pay Rate: $53 / hour
\nRN Details
\n- \n
- Full Time Schedules \n
- Some weekends may be required \n
- 8 or 12 hour shifts available depending on the facility \n
- 7:00 am to 7:30pm \n
RN Duties
\n- \n
- Performing health screenings and physical examinations \n
- Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration \n
- Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations \n
- Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff \n
- Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations \n
- Performing other general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc. \n
RN Qualifications
\n- \n
- Graduation from an accredited educational institution \n
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in NC. The license MUST be in good standing \n
- 1 year of experience \n
- A minimum of one (1) year of correctional experience is required \n
