The Dispensing Pharmacist is responsible for accurately reviewing, verifying, and dispensing prescription medications in a high-volume pharmacy environment. This role ensures quality assurance standards are met while collaborating with the pharmacy team to provide safe, timely, and efficient patient care.

Dispensing Pharmacist Responsibilities:

\n

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications.
\n
• Perform final quality assurance checks prior to medication shipment.
\n
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company pharmacy regulations.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation and medication tracking records.
\n
• Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues.
\n
• Utilize pharmacy systems and technology to support efficient workflow and patient safety.
\n
• Provide exceptional patient-focused service while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
\n

Dispensing Pharmacist Requirements:

\n

\n
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
\n
• Active Ohio Pharmacist license required.
\n
• Eligible to participate in Federal prescription programs.
\n
• Strong computer, communication, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
\n
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.
\n
