American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a float pool ICU position requiring at least 2 years of experience, CA licensure, and night shift availability including every other weekend.
Details\n- \n
- Float pool position rotating between ICU, ER, and Med/Surg units in an acute care hospital setting \n
- 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend required \n
- Travelers are first to float among assigned units \n
- Charting is done in Cerner \n
- PALS certification is preferred for this position \n
- \n
- Active CA RN license required; pending licenses will not be accepted \n
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required \n
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS; all certifications must be active — pending certifications will not be accepted \n
- COVID vaccination required \n
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire \n
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration \n

- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health facility within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered \n
- Orientation consists of 12 hours on-site \n
- RNs at this facility are given a pass/fail skills test on sterile technique for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes on the first day of orientation \n
