Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with at least 1 year of experience to work in a cardiac catheterization lab on a 13-week travel contract.

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a hospital environment
\n
• 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience
\n
• BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
\n
• ACLS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
\n
• One of the following credentials required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography)
\n
• PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
\n
• Two professional references required for consideration
\n
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
\n
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations
\n
• Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity
\n
• Perform specialized imaging procedures including angiography, complex vascular and non-vascular interventional and therapeutic procedures
\n
• Monitor and recommend updates to protocols as warranted
\n
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards
\n
• Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate — the radius distance varies by state
\n
• COVID vaccination is not required
\n
