Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level 1 Trauma, academic teaching hospital with a minimum of 4 years of CT experience required.

Details\n

\n
• CT Scan department within a 637-licensed-bed Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center
\n
• Serves inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations with an average of 100 patients per day
\n
• Uses Epic EMR, Philips PACS, and GE scanners
\n
• 4x10-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n
• May float to inpatient and ED areas as needed
\n
• No weekend rotation and no on-call requirements
\n
• Holidays that fall on a scheduled workday are expected to be worked
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 4 years of CT experience required
\n
• ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
• Proficiency with IV starts required
\n
• Experience with Epic EMR
\n
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
\n
• One professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, required for consideration
\n
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
\n

• Orientation includes a nursing education orientation (NEO) and 1 day of departmental orientation
\n
• Black scrubs required
\n
• Candidates who have worked a permanent position at an affiliated facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
