Contracts Administrator
\nContract to Direct
\nKentucky
\nNew Energies
\nThe Global Edge Group leadership within Oil and New Energies staffing currently requires 2 Subcontract Administrators for a super project based in Kentucky. The position is initially a contract role, with the potential to convert to Direct Hire.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Draft, negotiate, administer, and oversee multiple contracts and service agreements simultaneously. \n
- Manage the end-to-end solicitation process, including identifying qualified vendors, issuing requests for proposals, coordinating bidder communications, evaluating submissions, and supporting award recommendations. \n
- Monitor subcontractor performance, track scope and cost compliance, address contractual issues, and conduct ongoing progress reviews. \n
- Partner with internal stakeholders across technical, operational, and support functions to ensure contractual commitments are effectively executed. \n
- Lead contract-related discussions, participate in negotiations, and promote clear understanding of contract terms and requirements among all parties. \n
- Prepare and maintain contract documentation, status reports, and project-specific subcontract administration processes. \n
Basic Qualifications
\n- \n
- Strong understanding of procurement practices, acquisition processes, contracting regulations, and industry-standard terms and conditions. \n
- Proven experience in pricing, negotiations, contract law, financial principles, and the development of a variety of contract structures. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of subcontract management throughout the contract lifecycle, including issue resolution and risk mitigation. \n
- Familiarity with large-scale technical, industrial, infrastructure, or construction-related projects and associated project delivery practices. \n
- Ability to develop and execute negotiation strategies using financial, commercial, and cost-based analyses. \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities and contractual risks. \n
Experience Requirements
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline with 5–7 years of relevant experience, or 9–12 years of equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated success in the formation, negotiation, and award of large, moderately complex contracts is required. \n
- Preferred Skills & Experience \n
- Experience supporting complex technical, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or similarly demanding project environments. \n
- Experience with EPC-based contract or subcontract administration activities. \n
- Knowledge of applicable government contracting regulations \n
