\n **13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | No On-Call**

\n Seeking an experienced **Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)** for a travel assignment at a Pathway to Excellence designated hospital. This blended unit provides care for **Medical-Surgical, Swing Bed, and occasional PCU-level patients**, with assignments based on patient acuity and nursing experience. Experienced Med-Surg nurses are welcome, with supportive leadership ensuring safe patient assignments.

\n **Requirements:**
\n * Active Illinois RN License
\n * Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg RN experience
\n * Experience caring for adult Medical-Surgical patients
\n * Ability to care for or float within a blended Med-Surg/Swing Bed/PCU environment
\n * Previous travel experience preferred

\n **Assignment Details:**
\n * 13-week contract
\n * 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
\n * Every other weekend rotation
\n * Every other holiday rotation
\n * No on-call
\n * No guaranteed hours
\n * W-2 employment only (1099 not accepted)

\n **Responsibilities:**
\n * Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult Medical-Surgical patients
\n * Care for Swing Bed patients and assist with PCU-level patients as assigned
\n * Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
\n * Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
\n * Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
\n * Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
\n * Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
\n * Deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality patient-centered care
