🩺 Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Shift: Nights - 3x12 Hour Shifts
\n• Typical Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
\n • First-time travelers accepted
• Medical/Telemetry Overflow Unit
\nPatient Population Includes:
\n• Medical-Surgical overflow patients
\n • Medical Telemetry patients
\n • Stable chest pain rule-out patients
\n • Atrial Fibrillation with Rapid Ventricular Response (A-Fib RVR)
\n • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients
\n • Stroke rule-out patients
Common IV Drips:
\n• Cardizem (Diltiazem)
\n • Amiodarone
• Active RN License
\n • 1–2 years of Telemetry nursing experience required
\n • BLS Certification required
\n • ACLS Certification required
\n • NIHSS Certification required
• First-time travelers welcome
\n • Strong cardiac monitoring experience
• Telemetry monitoring
\n • Cardiac rhythm interpretation
\n • Medical-Surgical nursing
• IV starts and IV management
\n • Cardiac patient assessment and monitoring
\n • Stroke assessment and care
• Management of Cardizem and Amiodarone infusions
\n • Medication administration and patient education
• Multidisciplinary patient care coordination
🩺 Responsibilities:\n• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical patients
\n • Monitor and assess cardiac rhythms and patient conditions
• Care for stable cardiac patients, including chest pain rule-outs, CHF, and A-Fib RVR patients
\n • Monitor and manage patients receiving Cardizem and Amiodarone infusions
• Care for stroke rule-out patients following facility protocols
\n • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate patient documentation
\n • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care
