Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with a TN or compact license and required experience in inpatient, outpatient, pre/post procedure, and portable/bedside cases.

• Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
\n
• 3x12-hour day shifts scheduled from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
\n
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
\n
• On-call responsibilities required
\n
• Uses Epic charting system
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active TN or compact RN license required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
\n
• AHA BLS certification required; AHA ACLS certification preferred
\n
• Required experience in inpatient, outpatient, pre/post procedure, and portable/bedside cases
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Epic charting system experience required
\n
• BSN required for international travelers
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Contract RN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside clinical care duties
\n
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC guidelines for respirator fit testing
\n
• Candidates must be willing to complete a drug test within 12-14 calendar days prior to start and avoid scheduling conflicts during this window
\n
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
\n
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility as local candidates are not accepted
\n
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning modules
\n
