Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care in a 20-bed mixed medical and surgical ICU.
\n
• Administer patient care with a focus on critical conditions, such as ECMO and post-open heart surgery.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including RNs, LNAs, and sitters, to ensure optimal patient care.
\n
• Utilize equipment such as IV pumps, telemetry monitors, and ventilators effectively.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Sunrise EMR system.
\n
• Adapt to variable patient ratios based on acuity and staff accordingly.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license with ACLS and BLS certifications.
\n
• Proficient in telemetry and ideally experienced in PCU or higher.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in managing critical drips, ventilators, and other ICU equipment.
\n
• Familiar with performing procedures such as pericardiocentesis, thoracentesis, and line insertions.
\n
• Prior experience in an ICU setting is highly preferred.
\n
• Ability to stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
\n
