Job Description: X- Ray Radiologic Technologist

\n

Schedule: Day Shift – 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

\n

Position Summary:
\n The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while providing safe, high-quality patient care. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of radiology principles, equipment operation, troubleshooting, and patient communication across all age groups from newborn to adulthood.

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Perform radiologic procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
\n
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiology physics, imaging techniques, and age-appropriate patient care.
\n
• Operate and troubleshoot radiology equipment, including automated processors, digitizing/copying equipment, RIS, and PACS.
\n
• Independently scan patients while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
\n
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, and departmental personnel.
\n
• Maintain professional behavior and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n

Required Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology Program (Technical Diploma).
\n
• R-ARRT Certification – Required.
\n
• CMRT Certification (Texas Medical Board) – Required.
\n
• Minimum 3 years of Radiology experience (any/all modalities).
\n
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
\n
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
\n
