Description:
\n CVOR Surgical Tech position, 8-hour variable shifts (6:00am–2:30pm), 40 hours/week, 13-week contract. Provides operative support for cardiothoracic procedures, assisting 3 CT surgeons with approximately 50–60 cases per month. Responsibilities include scrubbing cardiac/thoracic cases (including thoracic robotics), setting up operative suites, managing case carts, and ensuring efficient room turnover. Call requirements include 1 night/week, 1 weekend/month, and backup call weekly with a 30-minute response time. Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation required. Floating to regional locations may occur.
\n Requirements:
\n Minimum 2+ years CVOR experience required, including cardiac/thoracic cases and robotic thoracic procedures. Prior travel experience required. High School Diploma required; Associate degree or certificate preferred. BLS required (AHA or ARC); CST license preferred. Must live outside 50-mile radius. Strong work ethic, flexibility, and ability to manage downtime tasks essential. Epic experience preferred.
