Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a 52-bed medical-surgical unit with private rooms.
\n
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while managing ratios of 1:6-7.
\n
• Work collaboratively with charge nurses and CNAs, adapting to the unit's needs.
\n
• Adhere to facility protocols for IV and medication management with support from the in-house IV team.
\n
• Participate in a rotating holiday and weekend schedule as per unit requirements.
\n
• Float to related units if necessary while primarily focusing on MedSurg.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license in the state of West Virginia or willingness to obtain.
\n
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required; ACLS certification is a plus.
\n
• Experience with Allscripts EMR and ability to adapt to electronic charting systems.
\n
• Willingness to wear designated scrub colors for the MedSurg unit.
\n
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternating weekends.
\n
• Preferred experience with peritoneal dialysis handling and ortho post-ops.
\n
