American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Acute Rehab RN for a night shift travel contract in Petoskey, MI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute rehab experience and an active MI RN license.

  • Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
  • \n
  • Serves an acutely ill patient population spanning the full life span and multiple body systems, including patients with unstable medical conditions and surgical interventions
  • \n
  • Night shift: 7:30 PM – 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
  • \n
  • 36 hours per week
  • \n
  • Every other weekend required
  • \n
  • No on-call requirements
  • \n
  • 13-week contract
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active MI RN license required
  • \n
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of acute rehab experience required
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary health care teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care based on physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments
  • \n
  • Applies clinical judgment to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions, including monitoring and prevention of physiological complications
  • \n
  • Utilizes evidence-based practice and the Clinical Practice Model (CPM) in delivering patient care
  • \n
  • Demonstrates leadership through knowledge-sharing, serving as a clinical resource, and acting as a professional role model
  • \n
  • Reports to shift Team Leader and is accountable to the Department Manager
  • \n
  • This facility enforces a strict 3-strike attendance policy — contractors who are absent or more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated immediately; exceptions may be considered with supporting documentation for communicable illness or hospitalization
  • \n
  • No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
