Start Date: August 10, 2026

Location: Northern California coastal region

\n

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30). Weekend coverage required to meet staffing needs. Assignment duration is 13 weeks with 40 hours of orientation. Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days. Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).

  • RNs circulate on cesarean sections and assist with vaginal deliveries

  • 11 rooms with 15 beds; average daily census of 15-20 patients with approximately 20 visits per day

  • Postpartum experience preferred; couplet care and LDRP experience valued
  • \n
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • \n
  • Float requirements may include sister facilities within the region to meet operational needs
  • \n
Requirements:\n
    \n
  • Active California RN license (must be in hand; pending licenses not accepted)
  • \n
  • Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
  • \n
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
  • \n
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • \n
  • Experience with patient ratios of 1-3 patients
  • \n
  • Proficiency in essential L&D skills including fetal monitoring, administration of Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, epidural management, cesarean section circulation, postpartum hemorrhage management, and newborn assessment
  • \n
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
  • \n
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • \n
  • Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
  • \n
