This is a travelling role, 100% on site, working on a large scale data center project in Iowa. Travel package included.

\nOur client is one of the nation's leading electrical contractors, delivering complex construction projects across the healthcare, mission critical, commercial, aviation, residential, advanced technology and industrial sectors. Due to continued growth and a significant project backlog, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Southern California team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering major electrical construction projects ranging from large healthcare developments to complex commercial and mission critical facilities.
\nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover. \n
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget and financial performance. \n
- Develop project execution plans, procurement strategies and manpower forecasts. \n
- Coordinate with owners, general contractors, design teams and field leadership throughout the project lifecycle. \n
- Manage subcontractor and supplier procurement, contract administration and commercial performance. \n
- Review project drawings, specifications and contract documents to ensure successful project execution. \n
- Track project costs, forecasts, billing, change orders and project financials. \n
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and profitability. \n
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and trade partners. \n
- Support preconstruction activities including estimating, constructability reviews and value engineering. \n
- Work closely with field teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. \n
- Oversee commissioning activities, project closeout and final documentation. \n
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers while supporting the continued development of the project team. \n
Experience
\n- \n
- Project Management experience within an electrical contracting environment. \n
- Experience delivering one or more of the following project types: \n
- Healthcare \n
- Commercial \n
- Aviation \n
- Residential \n
- Mission Critical / Data Centers \n
- Design-Build \n
- Proven ability to successfully manage large, technically complex and fast-paced construction projects. \n
- A stable employment history with progressive career growth is preferred. \n
- Candidates currently operating at Senior Project Manager or Project Executive level are also encouraged to apply. \n
