Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Echo Sonographer for a 13-week travel contract in the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services unit of a Level III trauma center, requiring CCI or RDCS certification and experience with adult and pediatric echocardiography.

• Cardiopulmonary Specialty Services department at a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
\n
• Facility services include medical, surgical, rehabilitation, childbirth, cancer care, nephrology, pediatrics, inpatient behavioral health, day surgery, and extensive imaging
\n
• Patient population spans all age groups, including adult and pediatric patients
\n
• Primary procedures involve cardiac echocardiography with cardiac diagnoses and treatments
\n
• Uses GE Vivid E95 ultrasound equipment
\n
• Charting performed in Cerner EHR
\n
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
\n
• On-call requirement every 5th week, with weekend call every 5th weekend
\n
• No float requirements
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in cardiac echocardiography
\n
• Active CCI or RDCS certification required
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be from the AHA
\n
• Adult echocardiography experience required
\n
• Pediatric echocardiography experience strongly preferred
\n
• License required if applicable
\n
