American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Certified RN for an outpatient oncology clinic position requiring prior outpatient clinic and phone triage experience at a large Level I Trauma Center academic medical center.

- Outpatient multispecialty clinic setting within a large academic medical center (1,567 beds) \n
- Chemo unit serving breast oncology, breast surgery, and plastic surgery patients \n
- Duties include telephone triage, in-basket management, assisting providers during clinic visits, and new and return patient visits \n
- Pre-op/post-op teaching and chemotherapy patient education responsibilities \n
- Day shift: 4x9-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM \n
- Charting via Epic \n
- Parking available at $125/month \n

- Active CT or Compact RN license currently in hand \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Chemotherapy certification required \n
- Minimum outpatient clinic experience required \n
- Phone triage experience required \n
- Prior experience at a large trauma center facility required \n
- Clean nursing license with no prior disciplinary actions \n
- 1 professional reference required for consideration \n
- Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted \n
- COVID vaccine required; religious or medical exemptions accepted \n

- Large Level I Trauma Center and academic medical center environment \n
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates \n
- Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler \n
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved by the facility during the assignment \n
- Travelers may be required to participate in emergency or natural disaster response activities \n
