This position supports a wide variety of surgical specialties while working alongside surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers to deliver safe, efficient surgical care in a patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Prepare operating rooms for scheduled surgical procedures.
\n
• Set up sterile instruments, equipment, and surgical supplies.
\n
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
\n
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments during surgery.
\n
• Perform surgical case picking and preference card preparation.
\n
• Assist with scope reprocessing and sterile processing responsibilities.
\n
• Support patient positioning, room turnover, and specimen handling.
\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and the perioperative team to provide safe patient care.
\n
• Follow hospital policies and infection prevention standards.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
\n
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential preferred or required per facility guidelines.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience.
\n

• Knowledge of sterile processing fundamentals and scope reprocessing.

• Experience with preference cards and surgical case preparation.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
